Before starting the visit, we would like to tell you about the municipality where you are located.

Villa de Mazo is a municipality on the island of La Palma that stretches from the summit of Cumbre Vieja down to the sea along the eastern slope. The population is spread across fifteen neighborhoods, with the district known as “El Pueblo” serving as the main hub. Mazo is one of those places where time seems to move more slowly. Here, the green of the mountains and the blue of the ocean coexist as naturally as can be, which is why it is part of the Pueblos Mágicos de España.

In the town, very close to where you are, you can see:

The Parish Church of San Blas, whose construction dates back to the late 15th century, where you can admire its magnificent mahogany main altarpiece, created in the Baroque style between 1709 and 1711, as well as a collection of 16th-century Flemish sculptures.

Its unique cobbled streets, which give the town its distinctive character.

Pedro Pérez Díaz Square, located in the center of the old town, where you will find the Town Hall, the Municipal Library, and the La Unión Cultural and Recreational Society.
